Morning Tea for Mothers – Social group for new moms meets from 10:00 am. to 11:00 am. every third Wednesday in Riverside Medical Center’s Board Room. Call (815) 935-7511 to RSVP.

Baby Makes Three – Childbirth and parenting class takes place in Provena St. Mary’s Hospital’s OB Stork Room. Call (815) 935-2229.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) – Designed for moms with children ages birth-kindergarten, MOPS is an uplifting morning of snacks, crafts, a speaker, and adult conversation. Offered by the Manteno Church of the Nazarene, 2 Fridays per month (Sept-May), 9:00 – 11:30 am, call the church at (815)468-8946 for more information.

Options Center for Independent
Options Center for Independent Living is a non-resident, not-for-profit community-based organization that promotes independent living for people with disabilities. Check the website for special training events conducted by groups such as Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center.
